The Limi Boosters are the auxiliary organization of the North American Limousin Foundation. The Limousin enthusiasts support the North American Limousin Junior Association members and promote NALJA activities coupled with complimenting the efforts of NALF in promoting the Limousin breed.

Limi Boosters Cook-Off Contest
The contest is held annual at the National Junior Limousin Show & Congress
There will be only one division for NALJA members.

Showmanship Criteria: (40% of score)
All entries must include a typed copy of the recipe.
Cash prizes awarded to at least the top two placing teams. Limi Boosters reserve the right to add additional cash prizes for additional placings.

Any active member of the North American Limousin Junior Association (NALJA) attending any institution of higher education (2 year and 4 year colleges) is eligible to apply. Applicants’ high-school transcripts must place them in the top scholastic one-third of their classes.
The Limi Boosters will pay its scholarships directly to the recipients.
The Limi Boosters will base selection of its scholarship recipients on scholastic excellence; demonstrated leadership; citizenship; financial need; and participation in 4-H, FFA and Limousin junior activities. A selection committee will consider all complete applications received postmarked by May 15, and the Limi Boosters will announce the winners at the National Junior Limousin Show and Congress (NJLSC). The winners do not need to be present to receive the awards. Former scholarship recipients cannot reapply.
The Limi Boosters offers grants to state junior associations activities. The funds must be used to promote Limousin cattle or junior association members.
To be eligible for future funds, each association that receives a grant must send a report to the Limi Boosters explaining how the money was used.
