82 Head of Limousin, Lim‑Flex Parade at Southeast Summer Classic

The Southeast Summer Classic (SSC) Medal of Excellence (MOE) Limousin show was June 17 in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Judge Jered Shipman of Lockney, Texas, sorted 10 Lim‑Flex® females, a Lim‑Flex bull, 61 Limousin females and 10 Limousin bulls.

In the Limousin bull show, DVFC Sitting Bull won the grand champion banner after winning Division 5. Deer Valley Farm, Fayetteville, Tenn., and P&D Ranch, Grandview, Texas, exhibited the Sept. 26, 2005, son of EXLR Native 7133N.

The reserve grand champion Limousin bull was MNWS Frontier 507R, the Division 6 champion. The May 6, 2005, son of GPFF Blaque Rulon belongs to Deer Valley Farm and Magness Land and Cattle, Platteville, Colo.

MAGS Sheila, the winner of Division 4, went on to claim the title of grand champion Limousin female. Austen Etherton, Dawson, Ill., owns the Jan. 16, 2006, daughter of GPFF Blaque Rulon.

DVFC Outcast 924R followed her win in Division 5 by claiming reserve grand champion Limousin female. James Simmons, Ridgely, Tenn., owns the Sept. 22, 2005, daughter of EXLR Native 7133N.

Etherton Farms, Dawson, Ill.; Magness Land and Cattle; and Counsil Family Limousin, Madisonville, Texas, own the grand champion Lim‑Flex bull. EF Smack Down 764S is a March 1, 2006, son of EF Main Stay 541M out of M L Prudence 427.

MAGS Rose Petal won grand champion Lim‑Flex female. Etherton owns the April 1, 2005, daughter of GPFF Blaque Rulon out of TECC Dateline’s Gal. She showed with a March 3, 2007, son of EF Main Stay 541M at her side.

EXLR Rebeca 797S claimed reserve grand champion Lim‑Flex female for Megan Greenawalt, Lynchburg, Ohio. She is a March 28, 2006, daughter of Carrousels Pure Power out of EXLR Rebeca 7130M.
