Limousin Junior Association Bestows Honorary Membership
The North American Limousin Junior Association (NALJA) named Bruce Lawrence, Anton, Texas, as an honorary member during the July 27 awards banquet at the National Junior Limousin Show and Congress (NJLSC) in West Monroe, La. His longtime involvement with the organization includes many highlights, such as daughter Amber’s service as 1999–2000 NALJA president and his chairing the North American Limousin Foundation (NALF) Board of Directors NALJA Committee in 2006.
Each year, NALJA selects an outstanding individual who has shown exceptional commitment and care toward Limousin juniors for honorary membership.
The North American Limousin Foundation (www.nalf.org), headquartered in Centennial, Colo., provides programs and services – including genetic evaluation of 5,000 active sires – to nearly 4,000 members and their commercial customers. The Limousin breed and its Lim‑Flex® hybrid lead the beef industry in muscle-growth efficiency and ideally complement British breeds.
