Klamath Falls Hosts Western Limousin Exposition

The Western Limousin Exposition (WLE) Medal of Excellence (MOE) show was June 14 in Klamath Falls, Ore. Judge Jered Shipman of Lockney, Texas, sorted five Lim‑Flex® females, two Lim‑Flex bulls, 34 Limousin females and eight Limousin bulls.

In the Limousin bull show, KVDH Tomahawk 33T won the grand-champion banner after winning Division 2. Kevin Dean, Los Molinos, Calif., exhibited the April 14, 2007, son of COLE Nitro 84N.

The reserve grand champion Limousin bull was AVIL Top Notch 119T, the Division 3 champion. The Feb. 22, 2007, son of WWLS Ryder 569R belongs to Avila Cattle, Cottonwood, Calif.

DJ Seduction, the winner of Division 4, went on to claim the title of grand champion Limousin female. Lance Bierlink, Blaine, Wash., owns the Oct. 22, 2006, daughter of TNUH Blue Print 245H.

DJ Tammy followed her win in Division 1 by claiming reserve grand champion Limousin female. Holly Berry, Port Orchard, Wash., owns the Sept. 8, 2007, daughter of EXLR Excellante 251L.

In the Lim‑Flex bull show, DJ Tarantula claimed the grand-champion honors. DJ Limousin, Port Orchard, Wash., exhibited the March 18, 2007, son of BEUS Powerplant 408P out of M S C 120.

The reserve grand champion Lim‑Flex bull was BEUS Thunderstruck J133T. The Aug. 25, 2007, son of Mytty In Focus out of BEUSJ133M belongs to Beus Cattle Co., Pasco, Wash.

The Division 3 champion, MAGS Sister Act, won grand champion Lim‑Flex female. Berry owns the April 17, 2006, daughter of Connealy Lead On out of ALCM Kactus Kid. She showed with an April 15, 2008, daughter of Basin Franchise P142 at her side.

DJ Score Keeper also came from Division 3 to claim reserve grand champion Lim‑Flex female for Meghan Hauck, Wheatland, Calif. She is a March 21, 2006, daughter of BR Midland out of MAGS Keeping Score.
