2023 Fall Bucket List
Published September 29, 2023
Arguably one of the most spooktacular times of year is right around the corner. Just because the days are getting shorter and the air has a chill to it, doesn’t mean there aren’t many things to look forward to this fall. We’ve created a 2023 Fall Bucket list to help guide you towards a fun-filled fall.
- Visit a Pumpkin Patch – There is no better way to spend a beautiful fall day, than walking around in the fresh air trying to spot the perfect pumpkin.
- Carve Pumpkins – Once you find that perfect pumpkin, you can then enjoy caring and decorating the pumpkin however you want. You can carve a scary face or even your favorite Limousin!
- Go to a Haunted Corn Maze – If you’re looking for something to give you a fright, look no further than a haunted corn maze. Grab your family or a group of friends and hold onto each other tight for all things that go bump in the night.
- Go Apple Picking – While it’s not a pumpkin spice latte, apple cider is definitely a fan-favorite fall drink, so why not stop by an apple orchard and pick some apples. After a day full of fun picking apples, you can enjoy their homemade apple cider.
- 2023 American Royal, October 5 -9 in Kansas City, MO – Don’t forget that the fall also includes some exciting shows. Whether you are showing or want to come and watch, we look forward to seeing you there.
- Make a Gratitude Jar – Fall is also a season for being thankful, especially at Thanksgiving time. One fun activity to do is to make a gratitude jar. Decorate the jar any way you like and have those who are over for Thanksgiving write what they are most thankful for and put it in the jar. Then you take turns pulling out a note and reading what people are thankful for.
- Learn How to Make a Pumpkin Pie – The dessert that best represents fall is pumpkin pie, so there is no better time to learn how to make this yummy treat.
- 2023 NAILE, November 9 -13 in Louisville, KY – We look forward to traveling to Louisville to see all of the Limousin exhibitors there, but first don’t forget to enter by October 3, 2023.
- Have a Bonfire – Looking for the perfect evening activity to get all warm and cozy in the cool air? host a bonfire for you and all your family and friends. Gather around the fire and tell ghost stories while roasting some smores.
- Partake in a Chili Cook-Off – Nothing tastes quite the same as some delicious chili in autumn. You can attend or even host your own chili cook-off and get to have a blast making your “famous” chili while also getting to try loads of other delicious chili.
