NALF Food Friday: Mom’s Meatloaf

Published August 11, 2023

Our next NALF Food Friday comes from Laber Cattle Co. and the Laber family. Kayleesue says, “Growing up one of my favorite meals was my mom’s meatloaf. Fast forward to adulthood and my grandma Patton, also a Limousin breeder, gifted each grandchild with a cookbook she hand-wrote. Since then, all my new recipes go in this book. My whole family begs me to make this meatloaf, it’s everyone’s favorite, and it’s easy.”

Ingredients:
2lbs hamburger
2 eggs
2 packs of Ritz crackers
1 ½ jars of spaghetti sauce
1 ½ cups shredded cheese
salt & pepper

Instructions:

  1. Combine ingredients.
  2. Cook for 90 minutes at 350 degrees.
  3. At the one-hour point, drizzle ketchup on top of the meatloaf.
