The All-American Limousin Futurity took the stage in Grand Island, Nebraska on the final day of showing during the National Junior Limousin Show and Congress. This open show was held on Friday, July 7, 2017 and featured breeder and junior cattle from across the country exhibited together. Clink Rusk, Stillwater, Okla., sorted the Limousin and Lim-Flex females, cow-calf pairs, and bulls.
Linden Linthicum, Welch, Okla., took home the grand champion female and supreme champion title. JCL Cinnamon LNLM 522C is an October 10, 2015, 75 percent Lim-Flex daughter of MAGS Yip. JJWI Dixie 615D, a May 1, 2016 female, was the reserve champion female and reserve supreme. She is an 81 percent Limousin heifer, sired by RLBH Air Force One, and was exhibited by Jayce Wilder, Snook, Texas.
Grand champion cow-calf pair was exhibited by Spencer Wilder, Snook, Texas. SDWI Bout Time 01B is a November 20, 2014, 75 percent Lim-Flex cow, sired by DHVO Trey 133R. Reserve grand champion cow-calf pair was JCL Candy Girl LNLM 5514C, a May 3, 2015, 50 percent Lim-Flex female, sired by CALO Brickyard 902W. Jaden Lithicum, Welch, Okla., exhibited the pair.
The bull show was the final show of the day. The grand champion banner went to Wies Limousin, Wellsville, Mo., and Edwards Land & Cattle, Beulaville, N.C., with ELCX Cabin Fever 273C, a January 3, 2015, 62 percent Lim-Flex bull, sired by MAGS Xyloid. Reserve champion bull honors went to Bruce Lawrence, Anton, Texas. Lawrence exhibited LFL Deluxe Edition 6029D ET, a March 24, 2016, 65 percent Lim-Flex son of RLBH Air Force One.
The premier breeder award went to Linhart Limousin, Leon, Iowa. The premier exhibitor honors went to the Wilder family, Snook, Texas.
