Members of the North American Limousin Junior Association gain leadership skills by competing in education contests during national junior show.

Participation in the National Junior Limousin Show and Congress (NJLSC) extends beyond the showring. Members of the North American Limousin Junior Association (NALJA) prepare all year to compete in various satellite events to build leadership skills and increase education of Limousin cattle. Entries for contests such as photography, state poster, and magazine advertisement are submitted prior to the national junior show. Other contests including judging, public speaking, team fitting, and cow camp are held throughout the week of the show.
