Mallory Blunier joins Limousin staff

The North American Limousin Foundation is excited to welcome Mallory Blunier, Speer, Ill., to the team as the assistant communications director. Mallory will play a vital part in coordinating the digital media promotion efforts for NALF and its members, and assisting with the production of the association’s official publication, LIMOUSIN TODAYTM.

“Mallory’s experience is very well suited in serving the communications department, membership, and stakeholders of the Limousin breed,” stated Mark Anderson, executive director of the North American Limousin Foundation. “She has a valuable skill set and we welcome her to the NALF team.”

Mallory received her Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture communications and leadership from Illinois State University. While attending Illinois State she was a member of the Sigma Alpha Agriculture Sorority, participant of Colligate Farm Bureau, and an Agriculture Ambassador. Prior to ISU she attended Illinois Central College, was an active member of Collegiate FFA and the Postsecondary Agriculture Student organization.

Growing up on a farm in rural Illinois, Mallory became very active in FFA and 4-H. She showed livestock for ten years at county and state fairs. During her senior year of high school she served on the state FFA officer team, which ignited her passion to pursue a degree in agriculture where she could promote the industry.

Upon graduating Illinois State, Mallory decided to pick up and move to pursue her dreams of living in Colorado. She landed a job as an office assistant at a landscaping company before working at the National Western Stock Show as the open cattle show coordinator.

“The National Western cultivated my passion for the livestock industry and I feel truly blessed with the opportunity the Limousin Foundation is offering me. I am so excited to be doing what I love for a growing cattle breed,” Mallory stated after accepting the position.

Mallory now resides in Aurora, Colo. She officially began on March 20, 2017 and is working out of the NALF headquarters office in Englewood, Colo.
