The North American Limousin Foundation (NALF) elected new members and officers for its board of directors during the annual meeting held in Denver, Colo. Those newly elected to serve the Foundation for three-year terms are Bruce Lawrence of Anton, Texas, Charles Linhart of Leon, Iowa, Wade Beckman of Roberts, Idaho, and Randy Corns of Altoona, Kan.
Gary Fuchs, Cameron, Texas, was selected as the NALF president of board. He succeeds Bret Begert, Allison, Texas. Dexter Edwards of Beulaville, N.C. was chosen to serve as vice president. The remaining executive committee consists of Jim Bob Hendrickson, Adair, Okla, as secretary, Austin Hager, Karlsruhe, N.D., as treasurer, and Curt Wieczorek, Mount Vernon, S.D., as member-at-large. Bret Begert will continue on the executive committee as ex-officio.
The additional breeders on the 16 member NALF board of directors include Joey Freund, Elizabeth, Colo.; Mark Barker, Newcastle, Okla.; Greg Blaydes, Midway, Ky.; Dan Hunt, Oxford, Neb.; Gene Raymond, Garnett, Kan.; and Joe Moore, Raphine, Va.
The North American Limousin Foundation would like to thank the four retiring board members for their service. Those retiring members are Fred Wacker, Miles City, Mont., Dennis Alt, Shawnee, Kan., Chris Milam, Olmstead, Ky., and Chad Settje, Creston, Neb., who was the immediate past ex-officio.
The North American Limousin Foundation would also like to thank Gary Gates for the time he spent on the board this past year. Gary finished out the year chairing the Performance committee and we greatly his commitment to that committee.
