One of the world’s biggest agricultural events, Sommet de l’Elevage, is fast approaching! The largest livestock trade show in Europe will take place October 3–5, 2018 in Clermont-Ferrand, France, the heart of the largest beef-breeding area in Europe.

In a favorable economic context for the milk and beef cattle sectors, this 27th edition of the show is looking extremely promising: European and National breed championships will once again take place at the show, and visitors and foreign delegations from around the world are preparing their participation in our many farm industry events and the full program of conferences.

Sommet de l’Elevage 2018 will welcome 1,500+ exhibitors from 32 countries (including Arrowquip and Moly Manufacturing from North America!) and 95,000+ professional visitors.

Already the world’s indisputable #1 show for beef cattle (with 750 animals in judging) and now a national event for milk cattle, plus a buoyant sheep participation and horses too, Sommet de l’Elevage has clearly established itself as an exceptional showcase of French know-how in farm animal production and genetics.

International visitors will be warmly welcomed with free badges, access to the International Club, and services like interpreters, guided visits to the show, internet access, catering, and shuttle services to and from the show.
