The All-American Limousin Futurity (AALF) was held July 14, 2016 in Lexington, Ky., in conjunction with the National Junior Limousin Show and Congress (NJLSC). Lance Sennett, Waynetown, Ind. had the honors of sorting 102 heifers, 7 cow-calf pairs, and 21 bulls.
ECLX Candy 330 C, 56% Lim-Flex, was selected as the grand champion heifer. Wies Limousin and Edwards L&C, Wellsville, Mo. own this female. Reserve grand champion female honors went to Riverstone Charmed, exhibited by Madison Ratliff, Westphalia, Kan.
ELCX Aaliyah 453A was selected as the champion cow-calf pair. She and her January 3, 2016 heifer calf, sired by WLR Game of Thrones, were exhibited by Jensen Barwick, Seven Springs, N.C. Reserve champion cow-calf honors were awarded to Englewood Farm, Lexington, Ky., with ENGD Zenana 2074A. This female was exhibited with the November 19, 2015 heifer calf of MAGS Y-Axis.
Sennett selected ELCX Bullet Proof 438B ET as the grand champion bull. He was exhibited by Owen Cattle Co./Edwards L&C, Hornbeak, Tenn. Bruce Lawrence, Anton, Texas, exhibited the reserve grand champion bull LFL Captain Crunch 5086 C.
