Juniors Compete in the National Limousin Showmanship Contest
Winning the showmanship contest at the National Junior Limousin Show & Congress is one of the highlights of any junior member’s career. Four age divisions of members from the North American Limousin Junior Association competed in the National Limousin Showmanship Contest on Monday, July 6, 2026. The contest was held during the National Junior Limousin Show & Congress, July 3 – July 9, 2026, in Circleville, Ohio. Mackenzie Neal and Zach McCall served as the judges for the contest.
The top ten showmen from each age division were selected.
In the novice division, ages five to nine, Champion Showman was Cogan Schilling, Goodland, Kan. Rounding out the top ten included: Reserve Champion Showman, Lyvia Wright, Coshocton, Ohio.; third, Savannah Larsen, Interlachen, Fla.; fourth, Abbigail Byers, Johnson City, Tenn.; fifth, Khloe Kautsch, Russellville, Mo.; sixth, Jaxon Meyer, Bowling Green, Mo.; seventh, Kennedy Hamilton, Hillsboro, Ohio; eighth, Olivia Ullom, Prosperity, Pa.; ninth, Garrison Christensen, Gleason, Wis.; tenth, Rex Ratcliff, Olpe, Kan.
The junior division consists of members ages ten to 13, Grand Champion Junior Showman, D’lelah Laber, Hillsboro, Ohio; Reserve Champion Showman, Sadie Eggers, Humboldt, KS; third, Kharis Wilson, Marshfield, Mo.; fourth: Diem Schuppe, Iliff, Colo..; fifth, Ty Freed, Fairbury, Ill; sixth, Paislee King, Fort Worth, Tex.; seventh, Raylon Ratcliff, Olpe, Kan.; eighth, Bailey Ball, LaFollette, Tenn.; ninth, Craig Pecco, Ewing, Ky.; tenth, Benson Wright, Coshocton, Ohio.
Brock Studer, Creston, Iowa, was the Grand Champion Intermediate Showman, an age division consisting of youth ages 14 to 16. Rounding out the top ten included: Reserve Champion Showman, Jasper Tomlin, Amherst, Va.; third, Jacee Parrish, Liberty, Texas; fourth, Claire Sennett, Waynetown, Ind.; fifth, Siddalee Portwood, Versailles, Ky.; sixth, Wyatt King, Tiffin, Ohio.; seventh, Lilly Bayless, Auburn, Kan.; eighth, Cayden Olson, Nevada, Iowa; ninth, Jake Ozburn, Unionville, Tenn.; tenth, Trotter Thomas, Sterling, Colo.
In the final division, members ranging in age from 17 to 21, the Grand Champion Senior Showman went to Carlee Clark, Muldrow, Okla. Rounding out the top ten were: Reserve Champion Showman, Alyssa Slimmer, Sabillasville, Md.; third, Grant Rumple, Decatur, Ind; fourth, Carter Kornegay, Sperry, Okla.
