Scholarships

Eligibility
Any active member of the North American Limousin Junior Association (NALJA) attending any institution of higher education (two- or four-year colleges or universities) is eligible to apply.

Funds
The Limi Boosters will pay its scholarships directly to the recipients.

Selection
The Limi Boosters will base selection of its scholarship recipients on scholastic excellence, leadership, citizenship, financial need, and participation in 4-H, FFA and Limousin junior activities. A selection committee will consider all complete applications received postmarked by May 15 and the Limi Boosters will announce the winners at the National Junior Limousin Show and Congress (NJLSC). The winners do not need to be present to receive the awards. Former scholarship recipients cannot reapply. The Limi Boosters will pay the scholarships directly to the recipients.

Application Procedure

Complete the application in detail and forward it along with the following to the address provided at the end of this application:

1. Obtain information and the application form from the North American Limousin Foundation (NALF) website link provided above.
2. Complete the application in detail and forward it – along with required official transcript(s), a recent photo of yourself, and three letters of recommendation – to the following address by May 15.
3. One of the three letters of recommendation must be from an active NALF member other than a relative or guardian. That active member must provide his or her NALF member number and signature in the letter.
4. All applicants must complete the application on the original scholarship form. If applicants want to give extra information, they may provide additional attachments.
5. Failure to include all of the required information will disqualify the applicant automatically.
